How it works
Our OEM & ODM process
Five checkpoints between your first email and a sealed export carton. You approve each one before we move.

OEM or ODM — both start the same way
If you arrive with finished artwork and a specification, that is OEM: we execute your design exactly. If you arrive with a brief, a mood board or a character that only exists as a logo, that is ODM: our design team develops the toy with you, and the resulting pattern and sculpt belong to you. Most projects are somewhere in between, and the quotation covers whichever mix you need.
The five stages
Brief & quotation
Send artwork, a reference photo or a competitor sample with your target size, quantity and market. We return a costed quotation with material options — usually within one working day.
Day 1
Pattern & 3D proof
Our pattern makers build the flat pattern; for vinyl we cut a 3D digital sculpt and share turntable renders. You approve proportions before anything is cut or moulded.
Days 2–4
Pre-production sample
A real, sewn or moulded sample in your chosen materials, photographed from every angle and couriered to you. Two free revision rounds are included.
7–10 days
Bulk production
Cutting, embroidery, sewing, stuffing, finishing and inspection on our own floor. You receive line photos at 20%, 50% and 100% so nothing is a surprise.
25–35 days
QC, packing & shipping
AQL 2.5 inspection, metal detection, pull-testing on eyes and seams, retail packing, then FOB Shenzhen/Yantian, DDP air or sea — your choice of forwarder or ours.
Before dispatch
What we need from you
- Artwork or reference
- A front view is the minimum. A front, side and back view, or a photograph of a similar toy, removes a whole revision round. Vector files are ideal for vinyl; a phone photo is genuinely enough to start a plush quotation.
- Target size
- Height in centimetres, measured sitting or standing — tell us which. If you are matching an existing product, send its dimensions.
- Quantity and colourways
- Price breaks matter. Tell us the realistic first order and the likely reorder, and we will quote both so you can see where the curve bends.
- Destination market
- EU, US, Japan, Korea and Gulf markets each impose different testing and labelling. Knowing the destination on day one prevents a re-test on day sixty.
- Packaging intent
- Retail shelf, e-commerce single-carton, event giveaway and blind box are four different builds. Say which one and we will spec it into the first quotation.
- In-market date
- Not the ship date — the date it has to be on a shelf or on a stand. We will work backwards and tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Quality control, stage by stage
Incoming material check
Fabric weight, pile height, colour against the approved card, and a formaldehyde and azo-dye declaration for every roll.
In-line inspection
First-piece approval on every line, then hourly checks on stitch density, symmetry and fill weight against the signed sample.
Safety pull testing
Eyes, noses, keyrings, buttons and any applied part tested to EN71-1 and ASTM F963 force requirements, with results logged per batch.
Metal detection
Every finished piece passes a needle detector before packing. Detected pieces are quarantined, not re-run.
Final random inspection
AQL 2.5 general, 4.0 minor, 0 critical, carried out on packed cartons — plus your own or a third-party inspector if you prefer.
Shipping and terms
We quote EXW, FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, CIF and DDP. For samples and urgent replenishment we ship by DHL, FedEx or UPS on your account or ours. For bulk, we work with your nominated forwarder or arrange consolidation ourselves — including split shipments to multiple markets from a single production run.
Send us the drawing. We will send back a price.
A photo from your phone is enough to start. Tell us the size, the quantity and the market, and you will have a costed quotation with material options within one business day.
